Confession: I sort of let the blog fall into disrepair. With all the other stuff going on in the youth ministry it just got shifted down in the pile, but no longer! I am recommitted to at least twice weekly blogging. So, are you ready?
What’s going on?
First, the weekly outreach ministries have begun again! Frontline is our high school only event and it meets every Wednesday night from 7-9 PM (NEW TIME). I love Frontline! It is a wonderful night with games, lots of laughter, and some great worship which is being led by Mike Cahill. BASH, our middle school only outreach, takes place on Friday nights. We have a great group of volunteers working each week helping to coordinate games and team building activities. BASH is basically a competition between middle schoolers with a pizza party to be held at the end of the semester. Also, we have a wonderful Bible lesson mixed in as well.
Second, youth small groups will begin in just a few weeks. We will have a kickoff party for all the groups that will be held at the church on Sunday, September 29 from 6:30-8:00. Small groups will meet every Sunday after that at different homes around the Kingwood area. If you have questions about small groups be sure to ask me.
How can you help?
As always, I love to have youth parents helping out at all of the events. If you would like to volunteer to help out in any way, please contact me. Thanks for letting the KBC invest in your students life!
