Romans 3

I sat in the High School Sunday School class this last week and was treated to a discussion on one of the foundational chapters in Christian theology, Romans 3.  Following the reading of the passage the students were challenged to make observations about the text.  What followed was pretty impressive.

The students identified the major plot points of the chapter.  A chapter which describes the necessity and means of salvation.  Grace through faith for all people.

I am always amazed at the ability of students, when properly led, to wade through some of the most technical writing in the Bible to arrive at truth.  I am thankful that we have youth teachers who are patient enough to guide these young minds to arriving at the correct conclusions, without giving them the answers.  Our students will be served well in the future as they have been challenged to understand Scripture for themselves instead of relying on what they have been taught by others. Thanks Duff!
